California Privacy Notice (CCPA)
Introduction and Scope
Fundclarivo provides this notice to California residents under the California Consumer Privacy Act / California Privacy Rights Act ("CCPA/CPRA"). It describes how we collect, use, and disclose personal information about California consumers and what rights you have with respect to that information. This notice supplements — and should be read together with — our general Privacy Policy.
Categories of Personal Information Collected
Over the preceding twelve (12) months Fundclarivo has collected the categories of personal information described below. "Identifiers" — your IP address, browser fingerprint, and any email address you submit. "Customer records" — any name, email, or message you provide through forms. "Commercial information" — your newsletter subscription state. "Internet activity" — the pages you read and the referrer that brought you here. "Geolocation" — coarse city- or country-level derived from IP. "Inferences" — aggregated audience-segment estimates derived from reading behavior.
Sources of Personal Information
Fundclarivo gathers personal information from three sources only: directly from you (forms you complete on the site); automatically through your device interactions (page requests and cookie state); and indirectly from the service providers we use to operate the website (each of which we contract with under a data-protection agreement). We do not buy or rent personal information from outside parties.
Business and Commercial Purposes
Fundclarivo processes personal information for clearly defined business purposes: delivering the content you request; sending newsletter editions you have explicitly opted into; replying to messages submitted through our Contact and other forms; producing aggregated reports of site usage for editorial and advertising operations; securing the service against fraud and abuse; and complying with our legal and regulatory obligations under California and other applicable laws.
Disclosure to Service Providers and Third Parties
Categories of third parties to which Fundclarivo discloses personal information (always under a service-provider or processor agreement) are: hosting, edge/CDN security, email service providers, web-analytics providers, and advertising networks. Each is contractually limited to the specific business purposes for which the information is disclosed and is prohibited from retaining, using, or disclosing the information beyond those purposes.
Sale and Sharing of Personal Information
Fundclarivo does not sell personal information and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under the CCPA. In the preceding twelve (12) months we have not sold or shared the personal information of any California consumer, including any California consumer under the age of 16, and we have no actual knowledge of any such sale or sharing.
Sensitive Personal Information
Under the CCPA, certain categories of personal information are designated as "sensitive" — including precise geolocation, government IDs, financial account numbers, racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, and similar attributes. Fundclarivo does not knowingly collect or process such categories for inferring characteristics about California consumers. Any voluntary submission of sensitive information through our forms is used solely for the workflow you initiated.
Your California Privacy Rights
The CCPA grants California consumers a defined set of rights with respect to their personal information. You have the right to know what we collect, to request a copy of the specific pieces we hold, to correct inaccurate data, to request deletion, to opt out of any sale or sharing (we do not engage in either), to limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information, and to receive equal service and pricing regardless of whether you exercise any of these rights.
How to Exercise Your Rights
To exercise any of the rights described above, please submit a request through the Contact form linked in the site footer, or by email to the contact address listed on our Contact page. We will need to verify your identity to a degree of certainty proportional to the request — for newsletter records, confirming the email subscribed is usually sufficient; for broader access or deletion requests we may ask for additional information. We will respond within 45 days, or notify you if more time is needed (up to a further 45 days).
You may also designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We will require the agent to provide written permission from you (or a power of attorney) and may verify your identity directly to confirm the request. Agents acting on behalf of multiple consumers under a single permission must still meet the verification standards required by the CCPA for each consumer represented.
Consumers Under 16 Years of Age
We do not knowingly collect, sell, or share personal information about California consumers under 16 years of age. Our service is directed to adults. Should we ever change this practice (which we do not anticipate), we would do so only with the express opt-in consent required by the CCPA for consumers aged 13 to 15, or with parental opt-in consent for children under 13. Parents who suspect their child's data has been submitted can contact us for prompt deletion.
Right to Non-Discrimination
Exercising your rights under the CCPA will not result in any adverse treatment by Fundclarivo. We will not deny you the service, charge a different price, reduce the quality of the service, or otherwise penalize you for submitting a verifiable consumer request. The free editorial content we publish is available on the same terms to all visitors regardless of whether or how they exercise their CCPA rights.
Retention of Personal Information
Personal information collected from California consumers is kept by Fundclarivo only for the period necessary for the purposes described in this notice plus any legally mandated retention period. Concretely: newsletter email addresses are retained for the life of the subscription; contact-form submissions are retained up to 24 months; server logs are kept up to 90 days; non-identifying aggregate analytics may be retained indefinitely.

We may update this California Privacy Notice from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or in applicable law. The current version is always the one published on this page, with the "Last updated" date indicating when it became effective.
